i'm madly getting ready for renegade holiday sale in chicago, dec 5 & 6th! this is my first big craft show and i'm really excited about it!
 
i'm rolling out a few new items. this is prototype #1 of aunt birdy.
 
and prototype #2 of "crazy aunt birdy". she is going to have a hand bag full of "contraband" , stay tuned.... if you'll be in chicago that weekend, come say HI!

"look like a fierce cowboy h." and this is his response. this pic was taken by my iphone, which i'm totally in love with but mostly for the camera apps. this one was taken by "old camera". another nice app is "toy camera". i would throw out the links but are my husband and i the only ones who think the apple store has a really crappy interface? happy monday!

my kids will never...

use card catalogs in the library. do you remember these "relics"? i love the little cards, the tiny, long and skinny drawers and feeling like i was a detective gathering clues to solve a mystery...
 
with all the technology around it would be such a pity to loose the physical space of a library, the quietness, the energy a stack of books exudes, all that knowledge in one space, its powerful. i know you can now put an entire library on a nanochip the size of a postage stamp but it just isn't the same thing...
