what does this post have to do with surfing, nothing...and eddie vedder, EVERYTHING!
my confessions should also be labeled obsessions. my latest obsession is eddie vedder and the pearl jam song, "just breathe". i love this SONG! it makes me swoon. all i want to do is sit back with a glass of wine and have sir edwards voice and lyrics just drip all over me. i walk around the house singing it all the time and yesterday h. said "stop singing that song, i hate it!" perhaps not the song, just the fact that his mommy has forgotten that other music exists.  like any teenage girl in the early 90's, he made me swoon with his grunge/flannel antics...well mister, you are still rockin' the casbah at age 45 and this 37 year old still thinks you got it!

i'm obsessed with "true blood". there is a phenomenon happening here, its viewing episodic tv via dvd. it creates obsessive compulsiveness (at least in me). one can watch episode after episode without waiting for one's weekly fix. the problem is, i burn through a complete television season in less than a week. dang!
 
i've been netflixing this but had to run to my local video store (i didn't think they still existed) to get disc 3. the guy at the video store asked, "do you realize this is disc 3?" my response, "yes, i'm a bit obsessed". he looked at me like i was a freak.

the chemistry between "sookie" and "bill" is palpable- btw they are an item off the show too. yeah! why do i care? i don't know? it's all part of my sick obsessions. like my sister says "i need an intervention." if you haven't seen this and like fake blood, fake southern accents and vampire sex, tune in...

i've read all the books, watched all the extras and can't wait for new moon. oh, this man...check out his music. love it.
 
the things that bugged me when i first saw the movie are now pleasantly comedic, like; the fast forwarded running and tree climbing, the ridiculous facial expressions of jasper, humans acting like animals (i mean, they are vampires), the whole scene when the cullen's are cooking...dear lord, help me...
